Last blog post of the year!!!!!

Our last blog post of the year is about our favourite part of this year. I am posting about our white water rafting at Mountain Valley. It was so awesome and this video below will show you how much fun our class can have together as a group. I hope that next year at Havelock Intermediate will be great. But nothing compares to Room 20 at Parkvale School.

Reflection on the triathlon!

Today at school we had a senior school triathlon. I was in the non competitive individual. I came fourth , the order of the events were swim , bike , run.

What I was pleased with was my biking. Because I overtook people to get myself in a better place to help going into the run. I really enjoyed the biking. Because it is my favourite part of the triathlon. Something I found hard was the swimming. Because going into this event I knew I couldn't swim well at all so it was lucky that I was good at the other things. Something I want to get better at is swimming. Because it one day could save my life!

Something I was pleased with was?

Getting four problems done in time!

I really enjoyed learning?

That  72.8ms is actually 7280 cm not 728 cms    

Something I found hard was?

Understanding question 5 because I did not understand that you didn’t just add 400 to 1600 but they do equal 2000. But I did realise when 400 and 1600 aerent 1600 apart but 1800 and 200 are and they equal 2000. I did end up getting the right answer. The question was : A laptop computer and it’s case costs $2000. The computer costs 1600 more than the case. How much did the case cost.       

Something I want to get better at?

Is using more than one way to solve a problem.

I have learnt... to use language of success and and full punctuation my best story for that is lots of food lots of fighting it is not on my blog because I am not finished with it yet.

Maths

This is my favourite math and it is on my blog it was a while ago when we were learning about fractions and percentages of numbers and money Here is the link

I am proud of my area and perimeter for a garden that I did not long ago I haven’t gotten around to posting it but it will be up on my blog very soon.   

I have recently learnt about weight and weighing things on a scales we did this today at maths

Something I have liked in our topic learning is in room 19 for topic is the rubbish board game because it is really fun to make and design.

P.E. / Fitness
When we do fitness I like to play blob, soccer and dodgeball

Something I was pleased with from my interview was that I had this doc completely ready and I was prepared for the interview.

Something I was pleased with was it was accurate because it always worked.
I really enjoyed learning how to play corner ball
because  it is interesting and a new game to me.

 Something that made me think was either passing or getting someone out

because...

  If you miss you have to get the ball and the oposition get away. But if you do a bad pass someone could drop it and you have to try get it in the hoop again and the other team might get it before your team does.

  Something I want to get better at is

Reflection Amazing Race!!!

Reflection for the amazing race at camp

· Something I was pleased with was how well we did.

When we were in the amazing race I got stressed out because I thought we weren't going to do as well as we should of.

· I really enjoyed learning

How to be leader of a team and to be able to co-operate with a team.   

Because it was a good experience to step up and lead our team.

· Something I found hard was

When we got to the code part I thought we were going to lose because we were the last team to leave the code.  

· Something that made me think was
