Finding out fractions of numbers

  1. Well done Brody, I like your slideshow.

You show you can work out fractions of sets and numbers by using multiplication and division facts.

What materials would you use so other students could visualise the numbers?

  3. Hi Brody
You have been extremely busy and shown good application of this skill. I'm going to present a challenge about one fifth of 49 - how can it be 10 (5x10 = 50)- remember you can split money in smaller chunks (cents). See if you can make it more accurate.
