Last blog post of the year!!!!!

Our last blog post of the year is about our favourite part of this year. I am posting about our white water rafting at Mountain Valley. It was so awesome and this video below will show you how much fun our class can have together as a group. I hope that next year at Havelock Intermediate will be great. But nothing compares to Room 20 at Parkvale School.

Hi Brody. Are you playing football with all the best I mean I don’t know you if you aren't playing with exactly these players and if you aren't the captain I don't know you anyway the players : Raheem Sterling , Ibrahim Mbaye , Mbaye Niang , Stehaine El Shaarawy , William Keane , Joshua King , Harry kane , John Oblak , Muniain , Leali , Suso and many more. Batman in Arkham city part 2.

The last chapter finished with the following :

Now I need to use my sequencer to get a signal for my bat suit. Damn its not going to work I need to get much higher thats it the top of the G.C.P.D building. I need to go on this ledge got it then this ladder yes. Now I just need to jump from the ledge onto the other one Nooooooo!!! Ahhh!!!

Now …

Clink goes the grapple hook when it hooks onto the ledge. Thank goodness I'm safe Bruce thinks to himself. One more ladder and I am at the top. Alfred come in I have sent for the suit Yes yes It should be there right now. Cool , Smash!!! Goes the suit onto the roof the building. Beep goes the button on the package the metal package opens up and inside Bruce see’s his technically advanced bat suit. Now Batman is suited up he is ready for action.

Batman sneaks up behind a couple of thugs and hears that Two Face has captured Salina Kyle (Cat woman) and is threatening her with his gun we can not let Batman find out where they are well where are they says the other thug in the museum. You boys do know that I just listened to your whole conversation and I can not let you out of here alive. Oh yeah well you don’t scare us oh yeah Says Batman and before you know it they are both gone. Alfred Cat woman's in peril I am going to save her she might need some help. Ok then Bruce just do not hurt yourself Two Face is pretty dangerous. Got you Alfred.

Now on my G.P.S I need to locate the museum. Beep beep beep goes his hacker and he has now located this ledge e museum 1 km away. Batman Is flying from roof to roof in every direction to make sure he will get to the museum to save Catwoman. As he enters he sees through a window heaps of thugs even two thugs have snipers on the ledges where they can stand to be sneaky. And then there tangled on a rope hanging down to death is cat woman. Beside her stands Two Face looking as scary as ever. What is going to be the plan for all this thinks Batman.

Got it I will silently take down the two snipers dive bomb and take out as many as possible NOOO!!! That sucks! Two Face will shoot Cat woman!!! Ok got it I need to get Two Face down first drop a smoke bomb jump to the roof get the snipers take them down the defeat all the people on the ground save cat woman and leave. Thats a great plan lets see if it can be put into action.

Reflection on the triathlon!

Today at school we had a senior school triathlon. I was in the non competitive individual. I came fourth , the order of the events were swim , bike , run.

What I was pleased with was my biking. Because I overtook people to get myself in a better place to help going into the run. I really enjoyed the biking. Because it is my favourite part of the triathlon. Something I found hard was the swimming. Because going into this event I knew I couldn't swim well at all so it was lucky that I was good at the other things. Something I want to get better at is swimming. Because it one day could save my life!

Batman in Arkham City.

Welcome , welcome people to the grand opening of Arkham City. Anyone is now safe to live here. Hooray , Hooray go the crowds of Arkham. Just as Bruce Wayne was going the cut the rope for the reopening of Arkham City several cop cars surrounded him and out of one of the cars pop Hugo Strange. He mentioned Protocol 10 is falling into place. Bruce Wayne you are under arrest says a thug dressed in a cop suit. He is knocked out. The next morning when Bruce woke up he was in a strange looking room with small tvs all over. On the tvs Bruce saw Hugo talking to him he said “ I have a plan Bruce called Protocol 10. As you can see you are trapped. This is just the start of the Plan HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!” I am going to need to struggle to get off this chair and rock back and forth. Smash goes the chair! Then he kicks the door open and then he is off to the gladiator room.

All the thugs are lining up to get a piece of Bruce and since he is tied up you will think he is defenseless but you will be wrong. A kick for you and you Bruce mutters to himself and sooner on he had an easy path through the room. He pushes himself through the last door on the way out where a thug is threatening him with a knife but Bruce has different ideas. He kicks the knife on the ground stuns the thug puts the knife in the thugs hand and cuts the rope then easily knocks the thug with a kick. Now I need to use my sequencer to get a signal for my batsuit. Damn its not going to work I need to get much higher thats it the top of the G.C.P.D building. Something I found hard was?

Understanding question 5 because I did not understand that you didn’t just add 400 to 1600 but they do equal 2000. But I did realise when 400 and 1600 aerent 1600 apart but 1800 and 200 are and they equal 2000. I did end up getting the right answer. The question was : A laptop computer and it’s case costs $2000. The computer costs 1600 more than the case. How much did the case cost.

How to make a potion that turns all people into gummy bears

Have you always wanted to eat all people annoying, all people you have hated? Well now you can because with my potion that turns everyone into gummy bears!!! Now all your hates, your annoying brothers, sisters and uncles will all be gone if you just spend $20, just 20 or you can buy all the ingredients below. Plus a fantastic taste guaranteed. And make sure that you don’t eat the people too early before they have set or you may get a very sore stomach.  

Caution, there are side effects that may include symptoms such as:

• Sleepless nights knowing you have just been eating people              
• Guilt
• Tooth decay

What you need is just:

• An intelligent brain

• 5 packs of gummy bears

• A bucket or cauldron or a bowl to make it in.

• Cinnamon

• Sugar

• Flour

• Coco

• Milk

• Water

 

• All the magic happens in the pot when you stir it with a spoon

Steps:

• First you need to get your spoon and your bucket/cauldron.

• Next you throw all your ingredients in the cauldron except the water.    

• Then you heat the water in your microwave for one minute.

• Once your water is fully heated you need to pour it into the bucket/cauldron of ingredients.

• When you have poured the water in the cauldron you mix all the ingredients together with your spoon.

• You need to be mixing this for at least 5 minutes.

• Then you put it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

• Once it has been in the fridge you take it out and rest it for 15 minutes.

• After it has rested you are ready to go.

• All you need to do is pour this on someone and then they will turn into a gummy bear.

• The final step is to feast.

• Also remember who you pour this on because you will most definitely not want to eat the wrong people.

Known uses:

• Well once I did have a sister a long time ago. You finish the puzzle!!!!!
• The point is this can be good and bad. Be careful with it !!!

Decimal Maths

Today at maths we had a special session for Miss Hill. Me ,Thea , Josh L, Lachlan , Hope , Kharn , Libby and Ethany Had a maths session about decimals. Jaedyn recorded us for Miss Hill.

There were two  questions they were 3.5 / 4 and 6 / 7.5.
Here is how Me and Josh L worked out our answers.

Question number 1. 
First we gave each person 3/4s of a cookie. then there was 1/4 of a cookie left on each one. So that leaves 0.750 left. Now we need to split that. We gave each person 0.125 to each person the they have 0.875.                   

Question number 2.  

First Josh and I gave everyone one cookie each. Then there was 1 and a half to work with. So we gave each person 0.250 of a cookie because you get four quarters of a whole and two and that covers for six people. That makes my answer 1.25.

This is the last piece of my production diary.

Our last performance was tonight and my parents were watching. I was so nervous , I also got to do Seth’s part again because he wasn’t there. So I got to do more for my parents. I was especially nervous in front of my Sister because she would have mad fun of me if I did anything wrong. And I barely new my lines going into the sandpit ad doing the main part.

Plane wreck part 3

I am finding it hard to get up I am stuck under heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps of pieces of metal. I am trying too to get all these pieces of metal off me but I just can’t.

I ask everyone if they could help me. They try to help but it just doesn’t work. They can’t get all the metal off me. Someone has called the cops because I can hear the sirens creeping closer. The cop cars pull up to check the scene out.

The cops slowly walk up to me And say , Kid we're taking you in. So they must have found what I had done , I tried to explain what had happened but they didn’t care.

I was going under no matter what. When we got to the station my parents were not pleased to see me. Then they asked me what made me do something so stupid. So I tell them that I had to otherwise I could have died because there were some alien things that were going to eat me. Of course they were not going to believe me I sounded like a maniac. Nobody will believe you when you say alien in your sentence (Not even your family.) They told me I don’t even know how to light a match , so I pulled out my packet of matches and let one off.

They were amazed , But they still didn’t believe me. What was I going to do with my self.

I accidentally signed up for choir

I accidentally signed up for choir

My name is Bradley Smith. I love doing chores it’s like my hobby. So when I look at the billboard and there is a poster saying chores please sign up I knew it was for me. I made it in but it was weird in order for me to have gotten in I had to sing. It was almost as if I had misread the poster. I think I may have possibly signed up for choir.

So the next day when the choir teacher said welcome to choir I knew what I had done wrong. So I try to explain to the teacher what had happened and then she said in her tone of voice “ I am getting the impression you do not want to be here” At the top of my voice I yell YESSSSSSSS THAT IS EXACTLY TRUE!!! So I got kicked out, thank god for that.

After all of that I got sent to the principal's office. That is totally unreasonable I mean that teacher was soooo stupid after I told her all of that the least she could of done is dismiss me. So I got detention in her class for the rest of the month.

For the next month I had to listen (uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!) Everyone was staring at me I was so embarrassed people where even mucking up their lines because they were just giggling and laughing at me. so they all got into deep trouble and were told not to look at me. I wasn’t even let out for lunch I had to watch all the other children playing  Soccer which was the worst experience of my life!!! Which  is my favourite sport.

It was a long rest of the month I can tell you that. But when it was finally over I was so happy that I could play Soccer with my mates. It was weird everyone knew my name as the guy who was in the  girls choir.

Production diary part 3

Tonight was our first performance. We had to be at school at 6:20 to get changed. It was a bit of a rush because Seth wasn’t there to do the main part in his ad so I put my hand up to do it , It was in my head that I didn’t know the lines but I really did. So when I filled in I felt a little bit nervous but when I did it I was fine.

Today our practice was in front of the junior school. Our ad went perfectly fine but the little kids were talking so nobody really heard.

Tonight we had a performance in front some other parents. It all went pretty well but tonight I didn’t get to fill in for Seth because he was here.

Tonight we had another performance in front of some more parents and other people. Our ad was pretty good but I think it was not our best. The production was all round good but I was so tired and nearly fell asleep.

Usain Bolt Usain Bolt Is still the fastest Man Alive. He has some amazing achievements like today Winning the 100 metre men's sprint final this year at the London 2012 Olympics. Four Olympic Gold Medals and he is an amazing sprinter. He is currently holding the world record of 9.58 seconds that is amazing and nearly bet it this year with a whopping 9.63 seconds. The Jamaican has a close rival Yohan Blake another Jamaican at 9.75 but he just doesn’t compare to the Lighting Bolt.  Here is the link to the race video.
  

    

    

    

Part 2 production diary

29/08/2012

We have the whole production flowing. It took From 9:45 to 11:00. Our part is going very well but Rhys still needs to be louder and I need to keep my head up when I say my line.

We did the whole production as well as a dress rehearsal and we got to play for lunch. Today our ad went really well and smoothly. My line also went perfectly and well. The lights come into your face and you can’t see who you are talking to so then you feel less nervous.

SO I am going too light the fire when the alien yells something. Of course I didn’t understand him , but I got the point he said do it there’s  no other way out now.

I grab the matches out of my pocket when I feel something else. Its a screw driver. I pull it out thinking I could unscrew the bolts to the metal strips on the windows.

I walk over to the metal windows. I try to unscrew the bolts but it is no use I might as well just blow the roof off this place.

Now the matches are my only option I check my other pocket just incase but there is nothing in them.

I've got the matches in my hand. I light the matches and chuck it on the ground. I keep going with another and another all in different places all over the place there are matches. Anywhere you look.

The place is now fully blown. BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! I wait for all the smoke to go away and then I see what is going on. Its not looking good I think my alien friend may have been killed in the explosion.

Everyones coming around to see what's going on I will have to confess...
