Last blog post of the year!!!!!

Our last blog post of the year is about our favourite part of this year. I am posting about our white water rafting at Mountain Valley. It was so awesome and this video below will show you how much fun our class can have together as a group. I hope that next year at Havelock Intermediate will be great. But nothing compares to Room 20 at Parkvale School.

Batman in Arkham City part 3

The last chapter finished with the following :

Got it I will silently take down the two snipers dive bomb and take out as many as possible NOOO!!! That sucks! Two Face will shoot Catwoman!!! Ok got it I need to get Two Face down first drop a smoke bomb jump to the roof get the snipers take them down the defeat all the people on the ground save catwoman and leave. Thats a great plan lets see if it can be put into action.

Now :

All I can hear is the thugs laughing at me as I am lying on the ground with blood coming out of my mouth. I can not give up but if the thugs see me even do as much as flinch I will be shot down. I shall drop an extra large smoke pellet , so far so good and then grapple onto the roof awesome Nobody can see me so first I am going to silently take down the first sniper tip , toe , tip , toe , tip , toe. Batman has the guard by his neck and Click!!! He is down. Now I need to get to the other side of the roof to get the other sniper. Hmmm what do we do now thinks Batman. But at that moment Bame walked with a request of Batman. In these exact words he said I will destroy all the thugs in here if you help me. I will also help Catwoman and give back to you if you retrieve all titan give it to me. As you can see I am on my last limb. Batman said ok So Bane stomped on everyone and then got Catwoman for Batman. And two - face well he ran away knowing that two guns and a coin that has two heads on it aren't going to stop Bane.

So Catwoman and Batman set off to find the titan while Bane took care of the snipers.

Hi Brody. Are you playing football with all the best I mean I don’t know you if you aren't playing with exactly these players and if you aren't the captain I don't know you anyway the players : Raheem Sterling , Ibrahim Mbaye , Mbaye Niang , Stehaine El Shaarawy , William Keane , Joshua King , Harry kane , John Oblak , Muniain , Leali , Suso and many more. So that will be your Manchester United squad. Here is a picture of my boots now or when you were 11 just to remind you about your reps.                 
Anyway lets get off the topic Football.

   I even know that you used to best friends with a guy called Josh Little obviously because I am friends with him now. Yeah you always played soccer and fifa together. You guys were good friends what actually happened to you two. I have this old photo so you could possibly remember.

The Avengers Strike on Loki!!!

Once There were the Avengers but not all of them only The Hulk, Captain America and Iron Man. They were working in their labs trying to find who the newest criminal is. When suddenly they got a call from Thor. He said, “I have found the criminal it's the usual. Captain America tells Iron man to to put it on speaker. Captain America says “where are we looking at destination wise Thor. 
“How about this says Thor I will come pick you up in my spacecraft and we will go from there?" 

So the Avengers set off on their task. When Thor is on his way to pick them up his ship crashes right on the destination of he who shall not be named! So it is a bit weird having your brother as your enemy but he has a job he has to do! So when Thor recovers from his crash he is ready for action.The guys come to meet Thor at the mountain. 

LOOK!!! yells Captain America. Its LOKI!!! “Okey Thor are you ready to take your brother in?" says Iron Man.
"Its alright he was adopted I told you last time we went after him remember," says Thor. 
“Let's go” Shouted Captain America. They are ready for a fight (obviously only if they need to.) They approach Locie as if they were the best ever you know like a slow motion walk! When they get to him they explain to him "we're taking you in like all the other villains that we have had to go through. If you don’t come with us you will have to live with the consequences."
"What are they?" says Locie. 
"Well we will either have to take you to our craft in the air or we will have to put in a glass bowl you will have to live in forever because it is unbreakable," says Captain America. Loki refuses to go so Thor throws his hammer straight at Locie and they chuck him on the spaceship. When they get back to the craft they chuck Loki in the tiger proof glass bowl and press the red button so he is locked in until further notice. 

So Locie lay there unconscious while The Avengers sit down and have a cup of tea. Later on they go to check on Loki, he appears to have escaped, says Captain America.  "I know why," explains Thor. "He had his demigod sword and plus there is a giant hole there." Thor would know all about that since they're related. Thor has a chip that can locate Loki no matter where he is. They go out on the same trip again hoping that this time they can transfer Loki into a normal prison.

I am finding it hard to get up I am stuck under heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps of pieces of metal. I am trying too to get all these pieces of metal off me but I just can’t.

I ask everyone if they could help me. They try to help but it just doesn’t work. They can’t get all the metal off me. Someone has called the cops because I can hear the sirens creeping closer. The cop cars pull up to check the scene out.

The cops slowly walk up to me And say , Kid we're taking you in. So they must have found what I had done , I tried to explain what had happened but they didn’t care.

I was going under no matter what. When we got to the station my parents were not pleased to see me. Then they asked me what made me do something so stupid. So I tell them that I had to otherwise I could have died because there were some alien things that were going to eat me. Of course they were not going to believe me I sounded like a maniac. Nobody will believe you when you say alien in your sentence (Not even your family.) They told me I don’t even know how to light a match , so I pulled out my packet of matches and let one off.

They were amazed , But they still didn’t believe me. What was I going to do with my self.

I accidentally signed up for choir

I accidentally signed up for choir

My name is Bradley Smith. I love doing chores it’s like my hobby. So when I look at the billboard and there is a poster saying chores please sign up I knew it was for me. I made it in but it was weird in order for me to have gotten in I had to sing. It was almost as if I had misread the poster. I think I may have possibly signed up for choir.

So the next day when the choir teacher said welcome to choir I knew what I had done wrong. So I try to explain to the teacher what had happened and then she said in her tone of voice “ I am getting the impression you do not want to be here” At the top of my voice I yell YESSSSSSSS THAT IS EXACTLY TRUE!!! So I got kicked out, thank god for that.

After all of that I got sent to the principal's office. That is totally unreasonable I mean that teacher was soooo stupid after I told her all of that the least she could of done is dismiss me. So I got detention in her class for the rest of the month.

For the next month I had to listen (uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!) Everyone was staring at me I was so embarrassed people where even mucking up their lines because they were just giggling and laughing at me. so they all got into deep trouble and were told not to look at me. I wasn’t even let out for lunch I had to watch all the other children playing  Soccer which was the worst experience of my life!!! Which  is my favourite sport.

It was a long rest of the month I can tell you that. But when it was finally over I was so happy that I could play Soccer with my mates. It was weird everyone knew my name as the guy who was in the  girls choir.

Usain Bolt Usain Bolt Is still the fastest Man Alive. He has some amazing achievements like today Winning the 100 metre men's sprint final this year at the London 2012 Olympics. Four Olympic Gold Medals and he is an amazing sprinter. He is currently holding the world record of 9.58 seconds that is amazing and nearly bet it this year with a whopping 9.63 seconds. The Jamaican has a close rival Yohan Blake another Jamaican at 9.75 but he just doesn’t compare to the Lighting Bolt.  Here is the link to the race video.

Plane wreck part 2.

SO I am going too light the fire when the alien yells something. Of course I didn’t understand him , but I got the point he said do it there’s  no other way out now.

I grab the matches out of my pocket when I feel something else. Its a screw driver. I pull it out thinking I could unscrew the bolts to the metal strips on the windows.

I walk over to the metal windows. I try to unscrew the bolts but it is no use I might as well just blow the roof off this place.

Now the matches are my only option I check my other pocket just incase but there is nothing in them.

I've got the matches in my hand. I light the matches and chuck it on the ground. I keep going with another and another all in different places all over the place there are matches. Anywhere you look.

The place is now fully blown. BOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! I wait for all the smoke to go away and then I see what is going on. Its not looking good I think my alien friend may have been killed in the explosion.

Everyones coming around to see what's going on I will have to confess...

The plane wreck part 1.

The plane wreck part 1.
One thing you need to know about me is I am really fit. I take hikes up the mountains all the time. So anyway lets get on with the story I am about to tell you. One day I was taking my usual hike when I saw Well what looks to me like a plane wreck. It had windows and a door so thats how I had predicted what it was. Meanwhile I was thinking about going in or not. So I took my chances and went in no matter what was in there. I may regret I may not I think to myself. So I am in now no matter what. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I need to get out of here quick but the aliens have locked the door and swallowed the key. I need to think fast.

I could smash a window jump out and run. But I need a distraction, maybe I could Quickly jump up to the roof of the plane without being seen. Then I could climb over to the window punch through it and then Wooolaaa!!! But then I don’t have a distraction   Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I scream at the top of my voice. And anyway I have seen that the windows have been blocked with metal. I notice something on the ground It looks like matches, I go to pick them up but then the alien sees me. Dammit I am thinking inside my head. The alien slithers closer and closer when I snatch the matches from the ground. Now I have no choice but too set a fire between us...

The crane

The crane

I insert my coin in the slot. Hoping I am ready to conquer the crane. I have my game face on and I am the zone I need a toy I think to myself. I move the crane so it’s about on top of the yellow toy. I am about to press the red button but my Dad yells WAIT!!!!! What he says is you need to move a little bit to the right then more to the back. When it is in the perfect position I wait for it to stop wiggling and moving then I press the button. Hoping just once I would be the one champion in our family. 

So the toy is picked up and I have my hopes high. It is now getting closer and closer to the hole. It has now been dropped in. I am so proud of myself that I run around Breakers saying Brody won a toy. When I get outside I scream to all my relatives Brody won a toy. Everyone starts to crack up.

I have chosen to review timetoast for today's homework task
Here is a link to www.timetoast.com Here also is a screenshot of one of my timlines at the the bottom its the  homework one.
I like timetoast because Its a simple easy way to make timeline instead of writing it all in a book.
all you need to do is sign up and your ready to go.
and I also think it is cool because since you  embed it you don't have to go back to blogger and reupdate it.
Another neat thing about is that its a fun way to make timelines that only you can see.
I would rate this 9/10 Because the only problem with it is that picture uploading takes ages.
you can make a timetoast about anything.

Something I was pleased with was

My skill on the ball because

I applied more skill while just running around the field.

I really enjoyed learning
Switch  
because I can do my turns good but in a game it is a lot harder to apply turns. But I realised it’s easy when you try it though.          

Something I found hard was getting in position for passes.

Something that made me think was

getting passes in
                  because on a small field it is important to find a good pass.

Something I want to get better at is

working with the other number that was called out.

  If you miss you have to get the ball and the oposition get away. But if you do a bad pass someone could drop it and you have to try get it in the hoop again and the other team might get it before your team does.
