production diary part 4 and reflection

This is the last piece of my production diary.

6/09/2012

Our last performance was tonight and my parents were watching. I was so nervous , I also got to do Seth’s part again because he wasn’t there. So I got to do more for my parents. I was especially nervous in front of my Sister because she would have mad fun of me if I did anything wrong. And I barely new my lines going into the sandpit ad doing the main part.

Production diary part 3

3/09/2012

Tonight was our first performance. We had to be at school at 6:20 to get changed. It was a bit of a rush because Seth wasn’t there to do the main part in his ad so I put my hand up to do it , It was in my head that I didn’t know the lines but I really did. So when I filled in I felt a little bit nervous but when I did it I was fine.

Today our practice was in front of the junior school. Our ad went perfectly fine but the little kids were talking so nobody really heard.

Tonight we had a performance in front some other parents. It all went pretty well but tonight I didn’t get to fill in for Seth because he was here.

Tonight we had another performance in front of some more parents and other people. Our ad was pretty good but I think it was not our best. The production was all round good but I was so tired and nearly fell asleep.

Part 2 production diary

29/08/2012

We have the whole production flowing. It took From 9:45 to 11:00. Our part is going very well but Rhys still needs to be louder and I need to keep my head up when I say my line.

3/09/2012

We did the whole production as well as a dress rehearsal and we got to play for lunch. Today our ad went really well and smoothly. My line also went perfectly and well. The lights come into your face and you can’t see who you are talking to so then you feel less nervous.

         

                                                

 
                     

My part one of the production diary.

21/08/2012

Hi my name is Brody. A few days ago I found out my role in the production is in an advert. “Yes!” I think to myself when my name is called. A bit later on we went to Miss Paki so we could be grouped and choose our ad. I knew exactly who to go to and my ad was in mind (the Mastercard Ad). So I went straight to Kayden, Tyrin, Rhys and Sam. We had other ads in mind but the best one was definitely the mastercard one. We have been practicing lots and lots and lots to get our mastercard ad right. I was going to be Ma’a Nonu. Jake had been away so he joined our group so instead of me being Ma’a Nonu we introduced Sonny Bill Williams and that is who I am going to be.

Today I made my mask It is a face of Sonny Bill , And we also made Richie for Kayden , Ma’a Nonu for Jake and Danny C for Sam. We also made our big mastercard as well. We didn’t need anything extra.

Today we performed in front of Mrs Williams. She seemed to love everyones adverts. And we had to say what we were going I am still a bit undecided but I should wear an All Blacks shirt or jersey but I don’t know yet.

We have now practiced on stage Miss Garland loved it so did I. All we needed to work on was a bit of positioning and Tyrin (Tim) needed to be a little bit louder and so did Rhys (the butler).

For the past 2 days we have been practicing the whole production in front of the team 5 teachers and the team 5 students it is going pretty well. When our ad was nearly going to come on Tyrin and I had a good idea to make me say the part at the end. ( Register and use your mastercard before September the 13th and you will have a chance to go on  tour with the All Blacks).
